Cu\u00e1ndo y c\u00f3mo denunciar los malos tratos:<\/strong>
Si sospecha que un menor de 18 a\u00f1os est\u00e1 sufriendo malos tratos o abandono, o corre el riesgo de sufrirlos, debe denunciarlo a la oficina local de los Servicios de Protecci\u00f3n de Menores (SPI).<\/p>\n

Antes de llamar, t\u00f3mese un momento para reunir la mayor cantidad posible de la siguiente informaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n

  1. Nombre, edad y direcci\u00f3n del ni\u00f1o.<\/li>\n
  2. Nombre, direcci\u00f3n y otros datos identificativos del progenitor u otro cuidador.<\/li>\n

    Aunque el Servicio de Protecci\u00f3n de Menores no investigue, la informaci\u00f3n se archivar\u00e1 y podr\u00e1 ayudar en futuras investigaciones.<\/p>\n

    Aunque no est\u00e9 obligado a informar en virtud de la legislaci\u00f3n estatal, tiene la obligaci\u00f3n de proteger a los ni\u00f1os de su comunidad.
