About the Trainer:
Fatima Smith is is a survivor, relentless advocate, “social mom-trepreneur,” and founder of FMS Speaks. She established FMS Speaks as a way to share her passion for anti-violence work, racial justice, and engage folks in dialogue that ignites action for progress. Fatima built a career on providing advocacy and education of interpersonal violence prevention. As a social worker, she has spent her career establishing inter and intra agency partnerships instrumental in transforming programming and service delivery models on the needs of clients in service provision. Fatima’s experience has largely centered on the paradigm shift within the community, first responders, Title IX, and law enforcement to “Start by Believing” and utilizing a solution focused, trauma-informed response.

3 weeks following the training Fatima will engage with participants with half hour consultation calls.
This training is set up through Talent LMS. You must register in Talent for access. Please follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to https://cacwa.talentlms.com, click Sign Up, and fill out the form.
Step 2: Once signed up, select the Course Catalog
Step 3: Click on the workshop you would like to attend and click Select Course
Step 4: Click Start or Resume Course, and then Register. There is a button on the bottom right that allows you to add the course to your calendar. You will get an email confirmation. All the live workshops will be presented using the Zoom platform. You will not receive a direct link to the workshop so you will have to log into Talent LMS the day of the training.
Step 5: Access to the live workshop will be allowed 15 minutes prior to the start time. Log into https://cacwa.talentlms.com and do one of the options below:
- On the Home screen, hover over the course picture and click on the “play button.” The next page will be a course session description. Click on Join under the word Webinar.
- Select Calendar and click on the training displayed on the calendar date. On the hover window, click on Join next to the word Webinar.
