DESCRIPTION:This training is designed to deepen your awareness of how strangulation and asphyxiation may present in child abuse cases and how to uncover critical details during the forensic interview process. By the end of this session\, you will be better equipped to understand what makes strangulation or choking a crime\, recognize the normalization of strangulation or choking behaviors through social media and pornography\, understand the three ways strangulation/choking & asphyxiation are most commonly presented in a child forensic interview\, and recognize that listening for cues from the child is critical during field interviewing for making vital decisions about forensic interview referral and/or medical care. \nClick HERE to register. \nQuestions?
