SUMMARY:Building Resiliency in CAC & MDT Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Prerequisite: click the title below to complete the assessment prior to training.\nBuilding Resilient Teams: MDT Resiliency Assessment\nTraining Information: \nIn this module\, participants will learn to recognize the impact working in the field of child abuse has on themselves and members of their MDT. The training will identify five core elements of resiliency and related strategies to build resilience in individuals and teams. \nAbout the trainer: \nSalli Kerr has over five years of experience as an Executive Director and CEO in the non-profit sector and was instrumental in the formation and accreditation of the state chapter of children’s advocacy centers in Nevada. As Executive Director\, Salli led a multi-service center that housed the Nye County Children’s Advocacy Center\, the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Nevada and other service organizations for victims of domestic violence\, sexual assault\, stalking and other crimes.  Salli’s background of providing direct services\, including foster-parenting\, provides her with a unique perspective on the impact of trauma in the lives of victims and the positive influence that a coordinated response has on victims’ recovery and wellness. \nTo access this training and other CAC trainings\, following these steps:\nStep 1: Go to https://cacwa.talentlms.com\, click Sign Up\, and fill out the form. \nStep 2: Once signed up\, select the Course Catalog \nStep 3: Click on the workshop you would like to attend and click Select Course \nStep 4: Click Start or Resume Course\, and then Register. There is a button on the bottom right that allows you to add the course to your calendar.
