Working in Indian Country requires individuals and organizations to think about how to engage respectfully and effectively with sovereign nations. We’ve identified three broad categories which are important to consider when partnering or developing CAC/MDTs:
- Sovereignty. Which includes: Law, Policy, Governance and Jurisdiction.
- Institutions. Which includes: Structures, Systems, Positions, and Processes.
- Culture. Which includes: Values, Ways of Knowing and Doing.
