Supporting Investigators After Child Death Cases: Burnout, Compassion Fatigue, & Vicarious Trauma

This essential course focuses on the mental health and long-term wellbeing of professionals who regularly engage in infant or child death cases. Learning outcomes for personal and institutional resilience include the ability to:

1. Recognize signs of vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue in self and others.

2. Implement personal wellness practices and institutional supports.

3. Build peer and organizational structures for emotional resilience.
